GREEN SPACE ENHANCEMENT

In addition to ensuring that fundamental needs such as drinking water and wastewater services are met, MUD 127 has chosen to support other community health and quality of life improvements for residents. One of those improvements is the enhancement of green spaces with trails and amenities.

According to a growing number of studies sourced by the National Parks and Recreation Association (NRPA), “Use of green spaces is associated with decreased health complaints, improved blood pressure and cholesterol levels, reduced stress, improved general health perceptions and a greater ability to face problems… More time spent in parks and green spaces can help individuals fight against mental health issues like depression, anxiety and stress. Making sure that all people have access to parks and outdoor programming is a critical way to increase these positive effects on health and quality of life for your community.”

MUD 127 strongly encourages all residents to make use of the enhanced green spaces within the District, and to abide by the following rules so everyone can safely enjoy their advantages.

GREEN SPACE RULES

This area is designed for the safe enjoyment of residents of Municipal Utility District No. 127. The trails and amenities have been constructed and are maintained by
MUD 127 in cooperation with Brenwood Park Civic Improvement Association and Harris County Flood Control District.

Hours of usage are 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Use the space at your own risk. Be courteous, and adhere to the following rules of conduct to ensure the safety and well- being of all users. [Law enforcement patrols the area, and violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!]

• NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ANYWHERE in the green space. This means NO ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, electric scooters, skateboards, etc. NO EXCEPTIONS!
• NO littering or dumping — place all trash in the receptacles provided.
• Pets must be leashed and under owner control at all times – it’s the law!
• Clean up solid waste deposited by your animals. Help keep pets, people and our environment healthy. Use the Pet Waste Stations along the trail.
• Cyclists and skaters yield to pedestrians.
• Follow instructions posted for use of exercise equipment.
• NO alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs.
• NO fireworks, discharging firearms or loud music, phones, radios, etc.
• NO loitering, graffiti, camping, or fires of any kind.
• Respect the plants and animals you encounter. Nature lives here, too!

Esta zona está diseñada para el disfrute seguro de los residentes del Municipal Utility District No. 127. Los senderos y servicios han sido construidos y mantenidos por el MUD 127 en cooperación con Brenwood Park Civic Improvement Association y Harris County Flood Control District.

El horario de uso es de 5:00 AM a 11:00 PM. Utilice el espacio bajo su propia responsabilidad. • Los ciclistas y patinadores deben ceder el paso a los peatones.

• NO se permiten fuegos artificiales, disparos de armas de fuego ni música alta, teléfonos, radios, etc.

Khu vực này được thiết kế nhằm mang lại cuộc sống an toàn cho cư dân Khu Vực Tiện Nghi Công Cộng Số 127. Các đường mòn và tiện nghi được xây dựng và bảo quản bởi Hiệp Hội Cải Tiến Đô Thị Brentwood và Khu Vực Kiểm Soát Lũ Lụt Quận Harris.

Giờ giấc xử dụng là từ 5 giờ sáng đến 11 giờ khuya. Bạn chịu trách nhiệm các rủi ro cho mình khi xử dụng. Xin giữ lịch sự và tuân theo các quy tắc ứng xử sau đây nhằm bảo đảm an toàn và sức khoẻ cho tất cả người dùng. • KHÔNG DÙNG XE MÁY BẤT CỨ NƠI NÀO trong khu vực xanh. Nghĩa là KHÔNG dùng các loại xe ATV, xe máy địa hình, xe gắn máy, xe điện, ván trượt v.v. KHÔNG CÓ NGOẠI LỆ!
• KHÔNG xả rác hay đổ rác – bỏ rác vào các thùng rác có sẵn.
• Thú nuôi phải được côt dây và chịu sự kiểm soát của chủ nhân – đây là pháp
  luật!
• Dọn sạch phân do thú nuôi của bạn thải ra. Giúp các thú nuôi, người và môi trường của chúng ta được khoẻ mạnh. Xin dùng các Trạm Xử Lý Chất Thải Thú Nuôi dọc theo đường mòn.
• Người đi xe đạp và trượt ván phải nhường lối cho người đi bộ.
• Tuân theo bảng chỉ dẫn khi dùng các dụng cụ thể dục.
• KHÔNG dùng các loại bia rượu hay ma tuý bất hợp pháp.
• KHÔNG bắn pháo bông, xả súng hoặc mở lớn nhạc, điện thoại, radio, v.v.
• KHÔNG lảng vảng, vẽ bậy, cắm trại hoặc đốt lửa dưới bất kỳ hình thức nào.
